Overview
Brandon Assistant is a personally operated communications and automation service used by Brandon to manage personal messaging, notifications, and related assistant workflows for a limited set of known contacts and connected accounts.
This policy explains what information Brandon Assistant may access, how that information is used, and how it is protected.
Information we collect and access
- Name and contact details you provide, including your phone number and email address
- Message content and related metadata needed to operate the service
- Consent and opt-out records
- Account data voluntarily connected by Brandon, such as Gmail message metadata and message content when needed for assistant features
- Technical logs needed for security, debugging, service reliability, and abuse prevention
How we use information
- To send and receive messages and notifications that were requested, expected, or authorized
- To process and summarize emails or other communications for Brandon's personal use
- To provide support and respond to HELP requests
- To maintain opt-in and opt-out records
- To operate connected account features, including Gmail notification and mailbox-processing workflows explicitly enabled by Brandon
- To prevent misuse and comply with legal, carrier, platform, and security requirements
Google user data
If Brandon connects a Google account to Brandon Assistant, Google user data is used only to provide the specific features Brandon has chosen to enable, such as Gmail notification delivery and email processing.
Google user data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent personal information.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, message delivery, Google API access, or technical operations, but only as needed to operate the service.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to enforce policies, or to protect the security, integrity, or rights of the operator or users.
Data retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain records, support troubleshooting, or comply with legal obligations.
Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures are used to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP.
Brandon may revoke connected-account access, including Google account access, at any time by removing the connection or revoking access through the relevant account provider.
